EnglandChris after Phil is the most senior member of the squad and has played for Old Novos since it’s inception.
After leaving RGS, Chris was selected for the Newcastle University squad and played for four years in the BUSA league and Premier Northern Alliance League locally. Before joining the Novos squad he played for Reeves Independent (now Chemfica) in the Tyneside Sunday League.
Chris likes to organise at the back, likes to play the ball out and can always be heard on the pitch. He also puts high importance on good positioning which is just as well considering his aging years. His goal is to keep on playing long enough to make the over 40’s league.
Chris is the squads go to stand in goalkeeper and hasn’t done too bad saving a couple of penalties along the way.
